MCCLURE, MARGIE LEE ACHORD A resident of Baton Rouge and a retired cafeteria worker with the East Baton Rouge Parish school system, she passed away on Friday, March 2, 2007. She was 72 and a native of Walker. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., was on Saturday, March 3, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Sunday, March 4, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and will resume Monday, March 5, from 9 a.m. until religious services in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Dan McMasters. Interment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Deane McClure Castleberry and her husband, Ray; two sons, Michael McClure and wife Gail, and Terry Lee McClure and wife Elaine; three sisters, Stella Sutcliffe, Janis Maxwell and Nina Achord; three brothers, Carl "Sonny Boy" Achord, Wilson "Red" Achord Jr., and James "Jimmy" Achord; eight grandchildren, Trey and Todd Castleberry, Amanda, Jenifer, Thomas, Jacob, and Kelli McClure and Austin Bass; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter Wright and Parker Castleberry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley D. McClure; grandson, Rhett Castleberry; and her parents, Wilson and Zadie Achord.
