Vesta Mae Galbraith Adams Robison Lee, 94, of Rexburg, formerly of Rigby, died Tuesday July 9, 2013 at The Homestead assisted living center of Rexburg.
She was born May 4, 1919 in Lyman, to Francis Galbraith and Nettie Ruanna Sutton Galbraith. She was raised and attended schools in Lyman and Cedar Point, graduating from Madison High School.
She married Robert Adams on December 28, 1938 in Lyman; they were blessed with a daughter and four sons. He preceded her in death. She then married Lind Robison; he also preceded her in death. She then married John Lee who also preceded her in death.
Vesta was a member of the Rigby Lions Club and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she served in all of the Women's auxiliary organizations and especially enjoyed serving as Compassionate Service Leader.
She was an excellent baker; she enjoyed canning, quilting, and sewing. Vesta was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Boni Jean (John) Michels, of Murray, UT; sons: Vernal G. (Kippie) Adams, of Rexburg, and DeLoy (Luane) Adams, of Missoula, MT; stepdaughters: LaDean Robison, of Rigby, Vicki (Wayne) Grover, of Hibbard, Id, Johnnie Sue (Bob) Elliott, of Shelley, Jeannie Lee, of Hibbard, and Luetta (Jim) Christiansen, of Idaho Falls; 25 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; three sisters; three brothers; and one stepson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Rexburg 11th Ward LDS (Chapel, 590 Summerwood, Rexburg) with Bishop Cory Lofgren, conducting. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday and from 10 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services, both at the church.
Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery.
Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
