Mattie L. Hartman, 86, of Dighton, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Lane County Long Term Care Center in Dighton.

She was born May 22, 1925 at Dighton to Samuel David and Minnie Myrtle (Rockwell) Martin.

She married Kenneth C. Hartman on September 26, 1943 at Dighton. He died on September 9, 2000.

She was a member of the Dighton First Christian Church.

Mattie was a lifetime resident of Dighton. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, designing Tee-Shirts and making rugs. She and her husband traveled to Mission TX for the winter for 25 years. She loved traveling through almost every state and went to Hawaii and Morocco.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister-Marie Adams and brother-Rex Martin.

Survivors include [edited for privacy], eight grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren,

Funeral service was held at 10:30 AM Monday at the First Christian Church with Rev Howard Bever officiating. Burial was at Dighton Memorial Cemetery.
