Anna Catherine Gabrielson, 74, of Puyallup, WA, died May 22, 1994 at a Tacoma care center. She was born Feb. 11, 1920, in Sunnyside, WA, to Patrick and Isabelle Flynn.

She was raised and educated there. After moving to Bellingham, she met and married Gunder Gabrielson, and they sent most of their married life on Puget Island. She worked in the Wahkiakum County Auditor's Office, eventually taking the position of auditor, retiring in 1986. She was active in the Democratic Party and a member of the Sunnyside Pioneer Association and St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Cathlamet. She gave many gallons of blood for the Rec Cross in Cathlamet.

Her husband died in 1986, and her brother, Jim Flynn, died in World War II. She leaves a dear friend, May Traxel, of Puyallup.

Services will be at 11 am Friday at Dowling Funeral Chapel with Father David Linehan officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
