Gunder Gabrielsen, 87, of Puget Island, died Dec. 1, 1986 at home. He was born June 21, 1899 at Harstad, Norway.
He came to Puget Island at the age of eight, and had worked as a carpenter, boat builder, and commercial fisherman. He had been a member of the Carpenter's Union since 1937.
He married Anna C., who survives, with a brother, Fritz Gilbertsen of Seattle; and 8 nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 pm Friday at Cathlamet Congregation Church with Rev. Ruth Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cathlamet.
