Esther Astrid Gilbertsen, 80, of Puget Island, died Oct. 2, in a Cathlamet nursing home. She was born Sept. 21, 1896 in Norway.
She came to the United States with her parents and family, and settled on Puget Island.
Surviving are three brothers, Gunder Gabrielson and Harold Gilbertsen of Puget Island, and Fridtjov Gilbertsen of Seattle; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Dowling Chapel with Rev. Everett Groves officiating. Interment will ne in Greenwood Cemetery, Cathlamet.
