Sigrid G. "Sally" Stevenson, 72, of Portland, died May 24 in a Gresham nursing home. She was born May 21, 1903, in Norway.
She came to Puget Island in 1910, where she lived most of her life. She was a research genealogist.
Surviving are her husband, Claude, of Portland; a son, Raymond B. Nelson of Cathlamet; a grandson, W. David Nelson of Cathlamet; a great-grandson, Joel Patrick Nelson of Cathlamet; three brothers, Gunder Gilbertsen and Harold Gilbertsen of Puget Island, and Fritjov Gilbertsen of Seattle; a sister, Miss Astrid Esther Gilbertsen of Cathlamet.
Services will be at 2 pm at Dowling Chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
