Emily was married to William Abbott on 13 May 1843 in Jefferson, IN. Together they had five known children:
Thomas Abbott (1845-?)
Charles Abbott (1847-?)
Seth Abbott (1850-?)
Arabelle Abbott Shepherd (1853-1901)
James Abbott (1847-1941)
After Emily's death, William married Mahulda Woodfill on 2 Jul 1858 in Jefferson, IN. I haven't been able to locate burial or death information for William. His last known record is an 1870 census.
