ABINGDON, Va. Sue Musick Hayes, 69, of Abingdon Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Sue was born to the late Arthur Lee Adams and Mildred Virginia Adams Widener of Damascus Virginia. Also preceding her in death was her brother-in-law, Scottie Thomas, and step-dad, Dale M. Widener. Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Tom Musick and wife, Donna of Damascus, Va., and Lee Musick and wife, Stephanie of Glade Spring, Va.; two sisters, Jean Lewis and husband, Roger of Kingsport, Tenn., and Ann Thomas of Bristol, Tenn.; one brother, Glenn Adams of Roanoke, Va.; five grandchildren, Emma Lee Ann Musick, Amber Heath, KayLeigh Heath, Caleb Gouge, and Zackary Gouge; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Sue Musick Hayes will be conducted 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at the Frost Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dwayne Dillard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:45 p.m. at Frost Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus, Va. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m. Thursday. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Fritz, Scott Thomas, Caleb Gouge, Michael Icenhour, Jeff Lawson, and Kenny Lawson.
