SCOTLAND NECK, N.C. – The funeral for Mrs. Henrietta "Rhet" Perrin Abell Wilkinson will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Scotland Neck with the Rev. Ted Melone and the Rev. Camden Simon officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilkinson, 76, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Our Community Hospital in Scotland Neck. She was born Nov. 24, 1937. She was the daughter of Robert Walker Abell 1913-1965 and Lillian McCall Perrin Abell 1917-1961.
Survivors include her husband, James Thomas Wilkinson Jr.; a daughter, Perrin Wilkinson Gardner of Scotland Neck; a brother, Charles Perrin Dreier of Irmo; and three sisters, Carlisle Perrin Simon of Marysville, Tenn. and Martha Abell Hatcher and Edie Abell Cantrell, both of Lowrys.
