Another one of the pioneers of El Reno passed away Sunday, in the person of Joseph Abbott, who had been ill for several months from asthma. Abbott came to El Reno at the time the town was founded and at the time of his death was connected with the U. C. I. T. Biliard parlor. He is survived by two daughters, Beatrice and Genevieve who were unable to come to the funeral services. They are both well known film actresses connected with the Universal Film Co., at Los Angeles Calif. Funeral services were held in the Catholic church Wednesday morning at 8 o’clock, and the body was interred in the El Reno cemetery.
