Collos Abrams, 82, passed away Sunday April 27, 2014. Mr Abrams was born July 5, 1931 in Spencer County to the late Albert and Mattie Perry Abrams and was the husband of 58 years to Violet Jenkins Abrams.Mr. Abrams was a member of the Harrodsburg Church of God, a Veteran of the United States Army, and was retired from GE in Frankfort. He was a Little League baseball and basketball coach, enjoyed fishing and music, and most of all loved his church and spending time with his grandchildren.In addition to his wife, Violet, he is survived by two sons, Mike (Jennifer) Abrams of Junction City, Mitch (Jill) Abrams of Portland, TN, a daughter Pam (Eddie) Kendall of Danville, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.Mr. Abrams was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.Pallbearers will be Chad Patterson, Brian Nevius, Chad Hill, Johnny Burkhead, Rex Burkhead, Todd Burkhead, Scott Yates, and Wayne Roberts.Honorary bearers will be: Norris Burkhead, Huston Burkhead, Brent Kendall, Hunter Abrams, John Paul Bailey and all of Mr. Abrams grandchildren.
