FRESNO, Calif. - Services for Ernest W. Farr, 88, Fresno, formerly of the
Stonewall, Okla. area, are 1 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Ada,
Okla., the Rev. George Vance officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Sunday at
Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Farr died Jan. 4, 2006, at Fresno. He was born Dec. 26, 1917, at Madill,
Okla., to Eugene Shaw and Bertha Cutting Farr. He attended school at Pickett,
Okla. He moved to California in June, 2004.

Mr. Farr married Gladys McCause in March 1937. She died in May 1983. He later
married Clara Burton. She died in January 1998. Mr. Farr was employed with
Ideal Cement, Ada, retiring after 36 years of service. He was a member of the
Ada Church of God for over 60 years.

He was preceded in death by eight sisters.

Survivors include his son, E.W. Farr, Bellflower, Calif.; a daughter, Beth
Laing, Fresno; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Doc Nickerson, Wade Brown, Walter Brown, Don Nickell, Doug Storts
and Willard Sliger.

Honorary bearers are Merle Reed, Kenneth Carlisle and Delbert Haines.
