She was born Feb. 17, 1945, in Bowling Green to the late Henry Thomas Withers and Abigail Kelly Withers. Ms. Abenroth retired from Citizens Bank as manager of the Beaver Dam branch and was a member of Hartford Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Jon Michael Thomas Abenroth (Kim) of Bowling Green; two daughters, Laura Anne Daves (Gary) of Oakland and Gretchen Anne Slone (Duane) of New Market, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Megan Curtis, Audrey Daves, Jessica Daves, Caroline Daves, Oakland Slone, Joseph Slone and Estella Slone; a sister, Martha Parker (Carter) of Bowling Green; a niece, Allison Parker of Louisville; and a nephew, Kelly Parker of Bowling Green.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, with Rev. Tim Colovos officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green.
