MOULTRIE — Etheleen Strickland Tucker, 86, of Moultrie, died Monday, July 7, 2014, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Elder Burkett officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens.
Born April 10, 1928, in Camilla, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Bessie Barwick Strickland. She retired from the fabric department with K-Mart Department Store. She was a member of Bridge Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Milan Tucker; daughter, Linda Tucker Abercrombie; and son, David Gene Tucker.
Survivors include a daughter, granddaughter and her husband of Suwanee, Ga.; great-granddaughter of Suwanee, Ga.; son-in-law, of Moultrie; and adopted granddaughter, of Moultrie.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today, July 8, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
