Regina was the 3rd Daughter and 5th child of Ludwig Anton 'Louis' Dwenger and Elizabeth Katheryn Schoborg, both of the Osnabruck region of Niedersachsen, Germany. Regina's parents emigrated to the U.S. in 1907, and first settled in Haverhill, Iowa where Elizabeth's brother Herman and sisters Katherine Schoborg Kunkel and Theresa Schoborg Lins had emigrated to in 1883. Elizabeth's sister Maria Margareta Berstermann and her youngest brother Gerhard Franz remained in Germany.
Haverhill is where Regina was born, but by 1920 they had moved to New Hampton/Dayton area of Chickasaw County, Iowa.
Sometime after 1930 Regina moved to New York and there married Thomas J. Flynn Sept 14, 1943; he died in 1974 in the Bronx.
Her obituary states she had 3 children: John, Nancy and Regina.
Regina was predeceased by her parents and all of her siblings: Bernard Dwenger, Heinrich Dwenger, Maria Catherine Zubrod, Elizabeth Dwenger. Her youngest sister Frances survived her.
