Elizabeth was born Oct 22, 1874 in Hastrup, Osnabruck, Niedersachsen, Germany to
Joannes Bernardus Friedericus Schoborg and Maria Catharina Fullenkamp.
She married Ludwig A. Dwenger (Louis A.) May 16, 1900 at St. Vincentius Catholic church in Bersenbrück, Germany.
Elizabeth and Louis emigrated to the United States arriving in New York on August 7, 1907 on the ship Kronprinz Wilhelm, along with 3 of their children, Bernard, Heinrich and Maria.
They settled first in Marshall County, Iowa, where Elizabeth's brother Herman Franz Schoborg had settled in Haverhill in 1881, then moved to Dayton where they lived for several years before moving to New Hampton.
