Henderson and her husband ran the Onaway Tavern from the time they moved to Potlatch in 1954 until they sold it in 1977. They also started and ran a trailer park at Onaway for several years. After retiring the couple moved into Potlatch.
Margaret married Cecil C. Henderson on Dec. 18, 1948, in Superior, Mont. after living in Nebraska and Wyoming. She was born July 26, 1914, at Frederick, S.D., to John and Etta V. White Blount. She grew up and attended school in South Dakota, primarily in the Frederick and Mandan areas.
Her husband died in April 1989.
She enjoyed sewing, raising houseplants, gardening, listening to her police scanner and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia McGough of Moscow; a son, Warren A. Baker of Yakima; two sisters, Kathryn Shelley of Spokane and Evelyn Craig of Deer Park, Wash.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grand-children and step-grandchildren.
A son, Don Baker, and a daughter, Phyllis Swalley, died previously.
A graveside service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Pot- latch Cemetery, with Rev. Gerard Kuiper of the Grace Lutheran Church in Potlatch officiating.
The family suggests memorials to the Potlatch Ambulance Fund.
Short's Funeral Chapel of Moscow is in charge of arrangements.
