Local Woman's Rites Are Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Livianna (Granny) Brantes, 80, who died at her home, 328 Prospect street, at 11:25 a.m. Friday, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Rose-Neath funeral chapel.

The Rev. T. C. Pennell, pastor of the Ingleside Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery.

Mrs. Brantes, a native of Marshall, Texas, is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Mary Zuber, Miss Rosa Brantes, Mrs. Carrie Morrow, Mrs. A. G. Hughes and Mrs. E. G. Vordenbaumen, all of Shreveport; a son, E. S. Brantes of Camden, Ark.; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be her eight grandsons.
