She was a graduate of Portal High School, Class of 1946, and a graduate of Warran A. Candler School of Nursing, Class of 1950. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 23 years, Mr. Urquit S. Aaron. She was also preceded in death by her parents John and Myrtice Kent and her half-brother Butler Lanier.

Her memory will be forever treasured by her loving son Stacy Aaron and daughter in-law Brigette Aaron and her daughter Karen Smith and son in-law Jason Smith all of Savannah GA; grandchildren Nicolas K Aaron and Tyler R. Aaron; Sister, Roxie Anne Hinson from Alto Ga. and sister in-law, Frances B. Aaron from Portal Ga.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Fairhaven Funeral Home Hubert C Baker Chapel in Savannah Ga. She will lie in state 1 hr. prior with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, December 5, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Temple. Rev. Kenny Grant and Rev. Derwood Poole will officiate. Graveside services will be held at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery on December 5, 2014 at 3:00 PM.

In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Calvary Baptist Temple Building Fund.
