Ruth Matilda Webb Adams died Dec 1, at the home of her daughter, Juanita Sanders, with whom she had made her home the last four years, in Ukiah, CA.
Adams was born to Jim & Jane Loudermilk Webb on June 17, 1900, on Ellijay in Macon County. She was raised at Ellijay and was baptized into the Ellijay Baptist Church at an early age. She was married to the late Oscar Lee Adams.
Surviving are 8 children, Roy of Redmond, OR, Lloyd of Prineville, OR, Odell of Spray, OR, O L of Heppner, OR, Juanita Sanders of Ukiah, CA, Frank of Kennewick, WA, Clifford of Spray, OR, and Bobby of Redding, CA; 23 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mae Bright of Franklin and Commerce, GA; three brothers, Lee Webb of Seneca, SC, Lloyd Webb of Duncan, SC, and Woodrow Webb of Silver Lake, OR.
Funeral services were held Dec 5, at 1 p.m. with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Burial was in Spray Oregon Cemetery.
