A Requiem Mass was held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church for Mrs. Louis Abadie, 81, who died in New Iberia following an illness.
She was the former Maria Carrett, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jean Carrett of Youngsville. She spent most of her life in New Iberia.
She was survived by one son, Leonce (Bee Bee) Abadie; a brother, Theo Carrett; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
