Zuccarini owned Big Al's — a longtime fixture of the Main Street entertainment area that was demolished to build a new hotel. A new club was built on Jefferson Street across the street from the Peoria Civic Center.In 1974, Big Al’s opened as a speakeasy during prohibition and was named after Al Capone.
Zuccarini has owned the World Famous Big Al’s strip club for more than 20 years.He had just opened a new club called the "Kit Kat" Club in Peoria. For over 40 years, Big Al’s has been a staple business and destination attraction in Peoria, Illinois. His club was considered to be one of the top Gentlemen's Club in the nation.He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.He was born Aug. 11, 1957, in Freeport, N.Y., to John Louis and Marie Deloris (Gannatti) Zuccarini. He married Kathy Gisslen on May 7, 2004, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Marie; his daughter, Nicole Zuccarini of Peoria; two sisters, Margherite Schoepfer and Joanne (George) Swarbrick, both of Plattsmouth, Neb.; his niece, Corinne (Stephen) Henry; and his great-nephew, Stephen Henry Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father John Louis Zuccarini,and brother-in-law, Robert Schoepfer.

He was of the Catholic faith.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015, at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. His funeral ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at World Famous Big Al's, 400 SW Jefferson Ave., in Peoria. Cremation will be accorded following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate in Peoria.
