Bernice Abbott, 93, formally of Russellville , IL, passed away on Friday January, 24, 2014 in Vincennes, IN. at The Lodge of the Wabash. Bernice was born on May 18, 1920 in Hammond, IN., to Frank Teets and Viola Tinsley. She married William W. Abbott on June 11, 1936 and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1998.

Bernice was a homemaker and a member of the Rising Sun Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and five sisters. Survivors include daughters Jerri Good of Russellville, IL, and Janet (Marc) Barter of Matlacha, FL., a sister, Patti Marlowe of Sebring, FL., five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 01, 2014 from 9 AM until service time at 10 AM. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 01, 2014 at 10 AM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL. Burial will take place following the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Vin-
cennes, IN.
