BENTON L. ADAMS

Benton L. Adams, 70, was dead on arrival in Home Hospital at 12:30 p.m.
Monday as a result of a car-truck accident on Interstate 65.
Born in Paris, Tex., he was married to Katheryne Giles in 1930, and she survies.
He owned and operated a theatre in Sunray, Tex., before moving to the Lafayette area.
He was employed as a security guard at the Minardo Fruit Co.
Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Dearman , Jr., Cookville, Tenn., and two sons, Mark E. Adams , Chicago, and Byron L. Adams , Clark Summit, Pa. His mother, Mrs. Minnie Adams, four brothers and a sister, all of Lubbock, Tex., all survive.
Services and burial will be in Smithville, Tenn.
