TROY, Kan. – Services for Delmer “Sam” Abbett will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Harman funeral home, Troy. Burial will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy.
Mr. Abbett, 59, died Sunday at a Kansas City, Mo., hospital.
A native of Troy, he had farmed and lived his entire life in the area.
He was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Abbett, of the home; a daughter, Linda Trusty, Independence, Mo.; three sisters, Mary Guthrey, St. Joseph, Leona Kennedy, Troy, and Stella Bear, Wathena, Kan.; two brothers, Virgil Abbett, St. Joseph, and Jody Abbett, Eagle Creek, Oregon; a granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
