Lorraine Abadie Haydell, 95, formerly of Plaquemine and Charleston, SC, passed away on August 2, 2015 at her residence in Newnan, GA.

Lorraine was born in Vacherie on September 8, 1919 to Francis Louis Abadie, Sr. and Alice Tegre Abadie.

Lorraine is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Walter Clifford Haydell, two brothers Louis Abadie Jr. and Lawrence Abadie and three sisters Melba Langolis, Verina Gullotta, and Marjorie "Dee Dee" Abadie.

Lorraine is survived by two sisters Kathleen Chauvin and Helena "Sis" Boudreaux, her daughter Suzette (Tom Hendricks) of Charleston SC, her son Walter Kelly Haydell of Savannah GA, her granddaughter Kate Hendricks of Charleston, her grandson Matthew Hendricks (Ashley) of Grand Prairie, TX and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, Thursday 4:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at Grace Memorial Cemetery, Friday, August 7.
