A former accountant with Food Town and Town and Country Supermarket and a resident and native of Plaquemine, she died at 2:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 87. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 12:30 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m., celebrated by the Rev. Cleo Milano. Entombment in Grace Memorial Park. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Melane Gulotta; four sisters, Lorraine Haydel, Helena Boudreaux, Melba Langlois and Kathleen Chauvin; grandson, Zachary P. Gulotta; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gulotta; parents, Louis and Alice Tregre Abadie; sister, Dee Dee Abadie; and brothers, Louis Jr. and Lawrence Abadie.
