Blevins of the home; two sons, Robert Garland "Dude" Blevins of the home and Douglas Blevins of the home; one daughter, Melissa Finley and her husband Jimmy Finley of Lansing, NC; 4 grandchildren, Juston Finley and Brian Finley, both of Whitetop;Justin Sheets of Johnson City, TN and Sonya Blevins of Saltville, VA and one great grandson; two brothers and their spouses, Lawrence and Gency Blevins of Mouth of Wilson, VA and James Ray Blevins of Chilhowie, VA; two sisters and spouses, Joann and Harley Lewis of Mouth of Wilson and Faye and Clifford Rupe of Mouth of Wilson, VA; Four grandchildren also survive.
The body is at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, Va
Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Helton Valley Baptist Church, Whitetop, VA. Interment in Walls Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Blevins and Rev. David Lyalls will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church prior to the funeral service.
