MRS. NARCISSIS ABLEHART
Mrs. Narcissis Ablehart was born in Belmont county, Ohio in 1844. She came to Nebraska with her folks about 40 years ago. They took a homestead and timber claim in Garfield county and she has made Ord her home ever since.
She died at her home in Ord October 25, 1925 following an illness of a week from pneumonia aged 81 years. She is survived by her brother James Pierce who had made his home with her for the past few years, a sister, Mrs. Mollie Kipp of Lincoln and a sister Mrs. Mina Hurlbert of Melford Canada. Also a niece Mrs. Edna Royce of Lincoln and a nephew Mr. Orville Hurlburt of Burwell.
During all the years that Mrs. Ablehart has made Ord her home she has enjoyed the respect of all who knew her and has been a faithful, honest hard working woman. Her opportunities have not been as great as many but she has done faithfully the work that came to her to do.
The funeral was held Tuesday at 10 am from the Daniels mortuary, Rev. Maynard officiating and interment was in the Ord Cemetery.
