His many television credits include: 'The Untouchables', 'Columbo', 'The Nine Lives of Elfego Baca', 'Gunsmoke', ' Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea', 'The Big Valley', 'Rawhide', 'T.H.E. Cat', 'Little House on the Prairie', 'Starsky and Hutch', 'Charlie's Angels', 'Magnum, P.I.', 'Kojak', 'Hawaii Five-0', 'The Bionic Woman', 'Frasier' and 'The Sopranos'. Loggia played leads for two stories in the long-running 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents' anthology series. He was nominated for an Emmy in 1989 for his portrayal of FBI agent Nick Mancuso in the series 'Mancuso FBI' and again in 2000 for his guest star role in 'Malcolm in the Middle'. Among the numerous films he appeared in were: 'The Greatest Story Ever Told' (1965), 'Revenge of the Pink Panther' (1978), 'The Ninth Configuration' (1980), 'S.O.B.' (1981), 'An Officer and a Gentleman' (1982), 'Trail of the Pink Panther' (1982), 'Psycho II' (1983), 'Curse of the Pink Panther' (1983), 'Scarface' (1983), 'Jagged Edge' (1985), 'Prizzi's Honor' (1985), 'Armed and Dangerous' (1986), 'Over the Top' (1987), 'Big' (1988), 'Oliver & Company' (1988), 'Innocent Blood' (1992), 'Independence Day' (1996), 'Lost Highway' (1997) and 'Return to Me' (2000). In 1986, he was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for 'Jagged Edge' (1985) for his portrayal of a private detective. His performance in 'Big' (1988) won him the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor. He even did voices for the video games: 'FreeSpace 2' (1999), 'Grand Theft Auto III' (2001) & 'Scarface: The World Is Yours' (2006). Loggia died in his home after suffering from Alzheimer's disease for 5 years.
