Justina "Jessie" Alto passed away with her children and grandchildren at her side, and left us to be with her husband of 50 years, Tom "Pops" Alto, on Nov. 26, 2015.
Jessie was born Justina Z. Kuzakin in King Cove, Alaska, and was adopted in her youth by Reverend Clarence and Ruth Dilley of Anchorage, Alaska.
She left many memories in the hearts of her sons, Gerald and Rodney Alto; and her daughters, Terri Albright, Ruth (Cooky) Peterson and Tina LeHuquet; and all of their families. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Jessie and "Pops" raised their children in Egegik, Alaska, where both were commercial fishermen.
Jessie is survived by her children and their families; sister-in-law, Alphie Myers; her adopted Dilley siblings; and by her biological bothers and sisters and their families on the Kuzakin side.
Everyone is welcome to attend her memorial service and viewing on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Alaska Heritage Memorial Chapel, 440 East Klatt Road in Anchorage.
A burial will be held in Egegik on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015.
