Millie Jeanette Boaz Abbott, 72, died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 1, 1939, in Leaksville, N.C., to Aubrey and Catherine Trent Boaz. Her parents preceded her in death.
She was in the 1957 class of Drewry Mason High School, and she attended Harmony United Methodist Church.
She was a retired waitress for Golden Corral in Eden, N.C.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, LeRoy Abbott of the home; a daughter, Debbie Ryan of Bassett; five sisters, Betty Spencer of Ridgeway, Myra Paschall of Reidsvile, N.C., Patsy Harris of Eden, N.C., Linda Fabrizio of Jamestown, N.C., and Ann Nelson of Broswell; and two brothers, William Boaz of Wilson, N.C., and Jimmy Boaz of Ridgeway.
