Anna Davis Adams, age 82, formerly of the Eldorado Community in Montgomery County, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehab Center, Albemarle.

Mrs. Adams was born March 6, 1934 in Randolph County, NC the daughter of Travis C and Freda Yates Davis.

Anna, known to all who loved her as "Nana", was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, Eldorado, a retired employee of Troy Drapery and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: John Adams (3/13/2004), brothers: Travis Junior Davis and Bobby Clinton Yates; and a sister: Betty Lou Nichols.

She is survived by two daughters: Donna Kennedy and husband Larry of Star, Betty Ann Williams and husband Sammy of Troy; one son: Johnny Adams and wife Nichel of Troy; grandchildren: John Adams, Jaimie Adams, Joshua Adams, Johnathan Adams, Cody Williams and Dylan Lemonds: great-grandchildren: Phillip Spivey and Brayden Adams.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2 pm at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery, NC Hwy 109N, Troy with the Rev. Derald Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Macedonia United Methodist Church, Attn: Jack Morris, 4396 NC Highway 109N, Troy, NC 27371.

Pugh-Troy Funeral Home is serving the Adams Family.
