Carol J. Kuechman, 77, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Greenwood-Arlington Chapel. Interment: 12:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood-Arlington Chapel. Carol was born Jan. 17, 1939, in Troy, Kan. to Clarence and Nellie Abbett. She was retired from General Motors after 26 years of service. She was a loving mother to all, and will be greatly missed. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Henry Kuechman in 1974; and siblings, Gerald Abbett, Ruth Krier and Larry Abbett. Survivors: Daughters, Kristine Taylor and Roxanna Mathis; sister, Betty Vollmer; brother, Richard Abbett; grandchildren, Eric McKay, Janell Pendergast, Dylan Taylor, Brittany Mathis, Andrew Mathis and Devin Freeman; great-grandchildren, Draxton McKay and Sofie Pendergast; and many nephews and nieces.
