Ruth was born April 24, 1937 in Troy, the daughter of Clarence and Nellie (Moser) Abbett. She graduated from Troy High School, attend one year of business college before working at Pillsbury for 21 years as a payroll clerk. Ruth was a member of St. Louis Church, Good Intent. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and especially her family.
Ruth married Robert Krier, June 24, 1962 at St. Louis Church, Good Intent, he survives of the home. Additional survivors include two son, Robert Krier, White Cloud, Brian (Jaeanette) Atchison, a brother, Richard Abbett, two sisters, Carol Jean Kuchman, Arlington, Texas, and Betty Vollmer, Kansas City, Mo., five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Gerald and Larry Abbett.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. Louis Church, Good Intent with Father Benjamin Tremmel OSB as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery.
