Lee was born to Leo and Dortha Adami in Casper, Wyoming on July 22 1936. He grew up in Buffalo, Wyoming where he met his life-long soul mate, Bee Weber, who he married September 2, 1956 in Buffalo. He graduated from Johnson County High School, obtained a BS from Montana State College, Bozeman, Montana and a MS from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan.

Lee was a member, past board member, and Sunday School teacher at New Life Wesleyan Church in Gillette, Wyoming. He ws an active member of Gideons International for 37 years and held state offices in Colorado and Wyoming. He was currently serving as president of the local campus.

Lee's career in management of food services, with Sealtest and Lowell-Paul Dairies, and Pepsi-Cola, spanned from Montana to Colorado and Wyoming. He recently was an instructor at the Gillette Campus of Sheridan College where he taught for the last 13 years. He was a sponsor of the Business Club (S.I.F.E.), served on the Faculty Senate, as well as many committees.

Lee is survived by his wife, Bee, of 47 years of marriage (plus nine years of courtship);his sons, Tim Adami of Lakewood Colorado, and Randy Adami of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; his daughter, Jane Coleman, son-in-law, Brad Coleman, and grandchildren, Adam, Kayla, and Michelle Coleman, all of Monument Colorado; his sisters, Geraldine Campbell of Buffalo, Wyoming, and Doris Jones of Billings, Montana; his brothers, Melvin Adami of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Marvin Adami of Billings, Montana; as well as many nieces and nephews. His parents and a son, Gregory Lee Adami, preceded him in death.
