DEATH'S RECORD.

Bernard Aalbers Died
From the Effects
of His Fall
on May 27th

Bernard Aalbers, of 833 North Sixteenth street, died at 2:40 o'clock yesterday afternoon from the result of injuries received from a fall on the 27th of May, as stated previously in The Journal. The old gentleman was quite energetic and industrious, and, noticing that some of the fruit trees in his yard needed trimming, started to do the job. He lost his footing and fell, however, and sustained grave injuries to his back and lower limbs which resulted in his death. His advanced years and the shock of the fall, together with his great suffering, made death a relief to him.

He was an old and respected citizen, and had lived here for thirty years. He was a cooper by trade, and was born in the old country July 5, 1831. He married Gertrude Thieman, who, with two sons and three daughters, survives him, namely: Bernard and Henry, of this city; Sister Andria, Mrs. B. Musholt, and Elizabeth at home.

Deceased was well known, and had many friends who will learn with regret of his sad death, which was a shock to his family as well as to them.
