Sara “Libby” Abner. 1941-2014. HARRODSBURG —
Sara Elizabeth “Libby” Abner, 73, died Tuesday at her home.
Born May 3, 1941, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, she was the
daughter of the late Roscoe and Della Byrd and the widow
of Jack Abner.
Survivors include a daughter, Jan (Earl)
Briscoe of Harrodsburg; a grandson, Zachary Wiley of
Harrodsburg; two sisters, Billie Sue Bryant of Madison,
Florida, and Anna (Jeff) Oster of Danville; and two brothers, Elwood and Clarence Byrd, both of Harrodsburg.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation
is 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. today at Alexander & Royalty Funeral
