"Mrs. Elaine Acree Cassady Warren, age 84, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 4, 2016. Mrs. Warren was born in Cork, KY on April 28, 1932 to the late Sherman and Flora Acree. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church.
Among those who preceded her in death include her first husband, Eugene Cassady Jr. who passed away on October 28, 1979; second husband, J.C. Warren who passed away on December 6, 1994 and brothers, Edward Acree, Preston Acree, and Jimmy Acree.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Jeanie Durbin (Donnie) and their children, Jessica and Jonathan and Lucy Dollar (Mike) and their children, Timmy and Joey; great grandchildren, Ireland and Emily; brothers, Buddy Acree (Hilda) and Joe Acree (Lois) and a host of other cherished friends and family.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, August 8, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus."
