David Abbott was born in Scott Co., Tennessee on Feb. 19, 1891. He was the son of Alexander "Elic" Abbott (1867-1939) and Malinda "Lindy" Strunk (1861-1936).
His father, Elic, was born in Kentucky and died in Scott Co., TN. His mother, Lindy, was born in Scott County and died there as well.
Sometime between 1910 and his death (1913) David moved to the Parksville area of Boyle Co., KY to be with/near his brother, Joseph Martin "Jo Mart" Abbott (1868-1931) and his family.
David died on June 13, 1913 in Boyle Co., KY at the age of 22. According to his death certificate, he is buried in the Chestnut Grove Church Cemetery. There is no burial marker or his marker is no longer readable.
