Obituary: Allie Rachal Aaron, age 70, entered eternal rest at Rapides Regional Medical Center on Sunday, October 22, 2006. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church where she attended faithfully for many years until her passing. She enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She also had a joy for helping others in any way she could. She was affectionately known to many in the community as "Momma" had many, many adopted children and family and friends too numerous to count who will sorely miss her presence. She also had an exceptional love for animals; especially her four dogs, France', Chase, Porche and Sweety, "her babies". Mrs. Aaron was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 47 years, the late Lawrence C. "Bobby" Aaron. She is also preceded in death by her parents, the late Leon Rachal, Sr. and Margie (Ree) Rachal; five brothers, the late Walter and Roosevelt Efferson, Erwin, Edward and John Rachal; one sister, the late Mary D.
