Elaine adored her child, animals and the peacefulness of living in the country. Elaine was preceeded in death by her husband, Jim Richardson, of Richardson Seed Company. They had issues with stolen timber; persons entering their land without permission and cutting and removing lumber.
Despite receiving a kidney donation from a sibling, having both legs amputated, she succumbed to Type-1 Diabetes complications, at age forty-five years young. She had two children: one, living, and several grandchildren, after she had passed.
Rest in Peace.
I have tried to locate a memorial for the young woman buried outside of the log cabin where Elaine spent her married life. I believe the woman died either in a fire or from smoke inhalation.
