Opal Inez Baker Willcox, aged 93, of Olive Hill, KY., entered into rest Thursday, December 15, 2016 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.
Inez was born January 27, 1923, in Carter County, KY., to the late Leslie and Maggie Melendia Bays Erwin.
Inez was a retired caregiver and attended the Olive Hill Nazarene Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her friends. She loved Olive Hill, to read and to piece quilts.
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by three husbands, Shirley Jackson Baker, Wayne H. Erwin and Earl Leroy Willcox, one daughter, Shirlene K. Abbott and two sons-in-law, Bobby L. Roar and James Odis Williams.
Mrs. Willcox was also proceeded in death by three brothers, Chester Wendell Erwin, Stevie Erwin, and Quintin Erwin, three sisters, Ruby James, Joyce Tussey and Doris Tussey, one grandson, Dwayne Allen Baker, one granddaughter, Diann VanHoose and one great-grandson, Jason VanHoose.
Inez is survived by five daughters, Patricia Ann Osbourn (Beach) of Grahn, KY., Margarett Faye Williams of Oxnard, CA., Rose Mary Fannin (Carl) of Olive Hill, KY., Deborah Carroll Bond of Winchester, KY., and Pamelia Dianne Thomas (James Everett) of Morehead, KY., one son, Beauford Allen Baker (Kaye) of Midland, AR., and one son-in-law, David Abbott of Elizabeth, IN., two sisters, Arlene Justice of Port Charlotte, FL., Gladys Boynton of Brunswick, GA., 18 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2016, at the Duvall and Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service 149 Whitt St. Olive Hill, KY., with Bro. Dale Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Oscar Erwin Cemetery.
