Florence E. Aam

Absarokee - Florence E. Aam and her husband raised sheep on their homestead in the Shade Creek community in northern McCone County for many years before moving to Absarokee.

Mrs. Aam, 86, a resident of Absarokee for many years, died Tuesday at her nephew's home in Baker where she was visiting.

She was born in Forest Lake, Minn., a daughter of August and Augusta Gustafson. She grew up and attended schools in Minnesota. On Sept. 6, 1917, she married John Aam in Wolf Point. He died June 17, 1965.

Survivors include two nephews, Earnest Aam of Baker and George Peterson of California; and two nieces, Gladys Dux of Newbury Park, Calif., and Viola Langmade of St. Paul, Minn.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Clayton Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Wolf Point. Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements in Baker.
