HARTFORD CITY, Ind.--William Harold Abbott, 60, R.R. 1, Dunkirk, died Saturday in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Abbott was a retired farmer and he also retired from Kerr Glass Co. He was a member of Hickory Grove Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include his wife, Mary M.; his mother, Bertha Abbott, Hartford City; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn S. Green, Jackson Township; six sons, William H. Abbott Jr., Greentown; Richard B. Abbott, Clinton, Tenn.; John L. Abbott, Hartford City; Jack R. Abbott, Huntington; James R. Abbott, Hill Air Force Base, Utah; David A. Abbott, at home; 16 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Dewey, Hartford City; Mrs. Betty Wilson, Hartford City and Mrs. Lenora Holloway, Marion; a brother, Robert Abbott, Montpelier; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Keplinger Funeral Home. Rev. J. Oliver Dearing will officiate. Burial in IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and until service on Wednesday.
