Mrs. Ethel Gay Tatum, age 85 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Village of Lebanon Nursing Center. She was born on February 17, 1932 in Marion County, KY. Mrs. Tatum was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for the Lebanon Radio and T.V. stations for forty-two years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Tatum (2001); daughter, Linda Gay Tatum (1977); parents, L.C. and Genevieve Abell Rawlings.

Survivors include two daughters, Pam Toepfer, of Walsenburg, CO, Mary Jane Miles, of Lebanon, KY; three sons, Louis Tatum, of Shepherdsville, KY, Stephen Tatum, of Lexington, KY, Mike Tatum, of Fern Creek, KY; three sisters, Joyce Reddicks, of Springfield, KY, Jane Greenwell, of Knoxville, TN, Mary Sue Rahubka, of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Bill Rawlings, of Prospect, KY, Crit Rawlings, of Midway, KY. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and Andrea Thompson, her granddaughter who lived with her for fourteen years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Bosley Funeral Home. Prayer services will be held at 7:00 Thursday evening by Deacon Dennis May.
