Andrew (Yankee) Abadie, of Westwego, La., on Saturday, January 24, 1981 at 11:45 a.m., beloved husband of Mrs. Georgiana Bollingham Abadie, father of Mrs. Georgianna Moore, Andrew I., and Leonard R. Abadie; son of the late Isabelle Champagne and Edward F. Abadie, brother of Mrs. Alpha Mayer; also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Age 80 years, a life-long resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Avondale Shipyards, Inc. are invited to attend the funeral. Services from Mothe Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La., on Tuesday, January 27, 1981 at 9:00 a.m. Religious services will be conducted at the funeral home. Interment in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery. Parlors will be open Monday, January 26, 1981 from 6:00 p.m. till midnight.
