MARION - Joyce Jordan Gore, 64, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at McLeod Hospice House after an unexpected illness. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Palmetto Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Gore was born in Petersburg, VA, a daughter of the late Bertie W. Jordan and Mary Cooper Rabon. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Rabon and a brother, Ricky Jordan.
Surviving are four children, Lief Ericson South, Alyson South Richards of Alaska, Jonathan Christopher Evans and Richard Jason Evans of California; three sisters, Mary Abbott of Florence, Wilma Rabon of Little River and Eunice Rabon of Longs; and 7 grandchildren.
