Marion----.Mary Cooper Rabon, age 85, wife of the late Sem Isaiah Rabon, died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at her residence.

Mrs. Rabon was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Hubbard James and Nettie Gertrude Cooper.

She was predeceased by one son, Dennis "Ricky" Jordan.

Surviving are five daughters, Mary J. Abbott and her husband, Larry of Florence, Doris J. Rabon and her husband, Tommy and Joyce Gore, all of Marion, Wilma Rabon and husband, Leonard Yoesel of Little River and Eunice Rabon of Longs, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, Mary Grace Jordan of Marion, two sisters, Bertha Garrett and Carrie Guyton all of Conway,

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Norman Johnson and Rev. Roy Allen Black officiating.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. Memorials may be made to the McLeod Hospice, McLeod Health Foundation, PO Box 100551 Florence, SC 29502-0551.
